In every good church there is a leader whom God has called to step forth and lead the flock. Without that leader the flock would be lost in guidance and spirituality. 1st Peter 2:25 - For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. |

| In the Bible,
God refers to us as sheep. Sheep are stupid animals that cannot take
care of themselves.
If left to themselves they would go astray where the result could be
devastating to them. Sheep will walk off cliffs, go too deep into water
and drown, get caught in thorns and not be able to get out.
John 10:14 - I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Jesus points out that He is the good shepherd, one willing to lay down his life for his sheep. The shepherd always has such love for his flock and a willingness to give everything for them. We have been blessed that God has bestowed a local shepherd upon Victory Church with such love for the flock and a willingness to give of himself. He keeps us from going astray and shares God’s word with us. Romans 10:15 - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
