Signs of the End Times

1. Matthew 24:1-3 – there shall not left here one stone upon another
This was accomplished in 70 A.D.

2. Matthew 24:4 – (sign of the end of the world) – take heed that no man
deceive you – Knowing the word will keep you from
being deceived

3. Matthew 24:5 – many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ
Right now in Jerusalem there are 50 men saying that they are the Christ –psychologists call it the “Jesus Syndrome.”

4. Matthew 24:6 – ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars
Many talk of peace, but that will not happen until the Prince of Peace (Jesus) comes back.

5. Matthew 24:7 – nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom – nation=ethnos or ethnic group, kingdom =domain, rule of authority, power

6. Matthew 24:7 – there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes
in divers places
famines – without food – the world is experiencing this right now
pestilences – diseases – there is a report of a girl with leprosy in Louisiana
right now
earthquakes – used to be one in a thousand years then one hundred, now
several each week

7. Matthew 24:8 – all these are the beginning of sorrows (or the beginning
of the birth pangs) –known as labor pains
A woman does not know how long she will be in labor until the baby comes – all the preceding signs are only the beginning of the labor pains.

8. Matthew 24:9 – then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall
kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake
My name’s sake – disciples or Christians shall be killed – Christianity is now hated all over the world –especially by the one-world religion that is already meeting on the earth right now.
