HOUSE OF PRAYER

1. Isaiah 56:6-7 – for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people

2. Matthew 21:13 – my house shall be called the house of prayer

3. Ist Corinthians 3:16 – know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that
the Spirit of God dwelleth in you
The believer in Jesus is God’s house of prayer!!!

4. Ist Corinthians 6:19-20 – your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is in you.

5. Matthew 6:24-34 – Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his
righteousness
The believer should always seek God first instead of having meetings with other people to find direction in their lives as God’s house of prayer.
6. John 3:1-8 – except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of
God…except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he
cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

7. Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit
Prayer should always be in the dominion of the Spirit of God and not with the mind or flesh. The Spirit should be the speaker in all prayer.

8. Ist Corinthians 14:14-15 – if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit
prayeth
9. Romans 8:26 – the Spirit itself (himself) maketh intercession for us
This is not speaking in tongues since the passage says “with groanings which cannot be uttered.” It is simply the Holy Spirit going to Jesus and Jesus going to the Father on the behalf of us.
