1. Ist Peter 3:7 – that
your prayers be not hindered
a. Dwell with them according to knowledge
b. Giving honor unto the wife as unto the weaker vessel
c. As being heirs together of the grace of life
When the husband steps out of line of the will of
God in the husband-wife relationship, then his prayer
life is hindered. The same principal
works in the wife’s life as well.
Relationship is very important in the
prayer life of both
husband and wife.

life? How important is oneness in marriage?
2. Matthew 5:21-24 – Go thy way,
first be reconciled to thy brother and
then come and offer thy gift
Can a husband/wife pray/praise and get the peace of God when they
are angry with one another? What do they need to do to be able to pray
and not have their prayers hindered when they are angry?
3. Matthew 6:14-15 – if ye forgive
What is the true forgiveness in a marriage that needs to take place
in order for prayers to be not hindered? Is this easily attainable?
4. 1st Corinthians 7:1-5 – Defraud ye not one
the other except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves
to fasting and prayer.
How much does the attitude toward sex in the husband-wife relationship
have to do with your prayers being hindered? What part does Ahab-Jezebel
play in opening the door for Satan to hinder your prayers? How do the
husband and wife get into oneness in agreement in this area in order
for their prayers not to be hindered?
5. Psalm 66:18-20 – If
I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear
me.
How does personal sins hinder your prayer life together and destroy
the oneness in marriage? Are we to hide personal sins from our partner
in the marriage relationship? What are we to do with the iniquity in
our heart?
6. Matthew 18:19-20 – That if two of you shall agree on earth
as touching
anything that they shall ask, it shall be done.
What price needs to be paid in order to come into agreement as husband
and wife to not have your prayers hindered? Are there times that God
does not want you to come in agreement with your spouse?
7. Ist Peter 3:12 – The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,
and his ears
are open into their prayers
In a husband-wife relationship can therebe both evil and righteous
in the relationship? What is evil in the marriage relationship?
8. John 9:31 – God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a
worshipper of
God and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Can there be oneness in prayer if one spouse is a sinner and the other
one is a child of God that is walking in His will? In this case what
kind of oneness is God looking for?
