1. Genesis 1:26-31 – Made in the image (likeness or resemblance) of the Godhead – male and female – be fruitful and multiply – have dominion – herb bearing seed – fruit of a tree – shall be for meat (food) – Behold it was very good

          a. Genesis 2:7 – Formed man of the dust of the ground breathed into his nostrils the breath of life

          b. Genesis – 2:18 – Not good that the man should be alone – helpmeet (one who helps) for him

          c. Genesis 2:20-22 – The rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman

          d. Genesis 2:23-24 – Bone of my bones (substance, essence) Leave and cleave ( cling to, bonded together ) – they shall be one flesh

          e. Genesis 3:16 – Greatly multiply thy sorrow and conception – thy desire (longing, craving ) shall be to thy husband – and he shall rule ( have dominion, reign ) over thee

          f. Genesis 3:20 – called his wife’s name Eve (life or living) because she was the mother of all living

2. Psalms 139:13-18 – Possessed my reins (kidneys – most sensitive organ in the center of the body) – fearfully and wonderfully made – how precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God!

3. 1st Corinthians 11:8-12 – woman created for the man – one in the Lord

4. 1st Corinthians 6:16-20 – Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
